"Why are you intent on causing as much pain to the people who play your game as possible? What do you stand to gain, Deet?" ― WisestMiner555

The Impossible Qatar '22 is a game in The Impossible Qatar series, ostensibly centered around the 2022 World Cup. It has 122 questions (100 plus 22). Development started c. October 19, 2018 before a hiatus; work started again in January 2022. It featured many 2018 memes that were be dead by release. Why are they now dead? Because it was released in June 2022. (It was originally planned to be released in November 2022 to coincide with the Qatar 2022 World Cup.) The quiz features more advanced gameplay and is the only one that was playtested before release. It is also the final entry in the series (not counting The Impossible Qatar 96, which is an April Fool's joke).

Gameplay[]

The quiz has 122 questions, some of which have variations of themselves that change each playthrough. There are also a few bonus questions available after beating the game. Many questions have a time limit in the form of a bomb, which gives an instant Game Over when exploding. The game has four powerups: the Skip, the Fusestopper, the 1Up, and the Super Skip, which skips two questions. This is the first and only game where the Super Skip is a normal, usable powerup. Some questions are unskippable, though. As usual, you must make it to the end with 5 lives and no checkpoints.

TIQatar22 MobileScreen

This screen appears before starting the quiz, asking what type of device you're using.

TIQatar22 StartScreen

The start screen for the quiz, including the "Instructions" button.

A few questions normally require a keyboard to answer. However, this quiz has an option for playing in a mobile mode designed for devices without keyboards; instead of needing a keyboard, certain questions will use a different mechanic for answering the question or be replaced entirely. Other additions introduced for the first time in this quiz include multiple background tracks, minigame questions, and red bombs (which last for two questions). Returning from previous quizzes are grades and a working instructions button. The task questions are generally more varied and difficult, and the transitions and cutscenes are generally smoother, than in previous quizzes. There is also some semblance of a plot, especially in questions 51-60, 99-100, and 119.

To restart the quiz properly, it is required to click the green flag twice instead of once. For some reason, a lot of game scripts won't reset if the flag is only clicked once. The Game Over screen attempts to make it very clear to players that it must be clicked twice.

Answers[]

Answers written in red indicate that the question features a bomb. The bold red text next to it indicates the timer of the bomb. If the number is "in quotes", then the bomb won't cause a game over upon time running out; if the number has an ellipsis (...) before it, the bomb will appear if you take too long. Italicized answers indicate unskippable questions. Questions with [WATCH OUT] mean you'll have to pay close attention since whatever you have to do will happen very fast. Any powerups and eastereggs are listed below the answer to the question. "" indicates that a bomb cannot be defused with a fusestopper.

Piks[]

Piks ("Skip" backwards) is a test project for The Impossible Qatar '22, released in September 2022. Its purpose is as a prototype for the "backwards skip," a joke powerup that would send a user back one question. It isn't a real quiz; the description also calls it "The Impossible Non-Quiz".

There are 2 "easy" questions, which are handwritten (as are the question numbers). Their answers are:

1. 4

+1 Backwards Skip

2. Chartreuse (the color of the words "the sky" in the question)

There are no lives in this question. Getting a question wrong just causes a text box saying "Lol, wrong!" to appear for a bit.

After those questions, there is another handwritten message from the creator:

That's it, that's the end.

This isn't a real quiz. I just thought a backwards skip was too funny not to make.

The Impossible Qatar '22 is already out, play it?

Despite the fact that it isn't a real quiz, it still has more questions (and power-ups) than The Easiest Impossible Qatar Ever.
