Skips are powerups that allow the player to skip a question. They are shaped as green arrows, and one must find them by doing tasks that are not related to the question itself. The idea is taken from The Impossible Quiz by Splapp-me-do. They are present in every iteration of The Impossible Qatar and The Impossible Quebec, except The Easiest Impossible Qatar Ever, The Easiest Impossible Quebec Ever, and The Mini Impossible Quebec.
Skips cannot skip unskippable questions. There is a variant of the Skip called the Super Skip, which skips two questions.
The Impossible Qatar[]
There is only regular Skip in the original Impossible Qatar, which you get for free after answering Question 13.
In Question 10, if you click on the word "skip," a picture of a Skip will appear. However, it's not a real Skip, and will just explode if clicked on (you have to click the explosion to move on).
Question 22 features an image of a Super Skip and Question 23 is just says "Super Skipping question...", but again, this is not a real Super Skip.
In the remastered edition, if you click on the word "burger" in Question 80, it will say "im to lazy to add a burger," then "so u get a skip". You'll get a second regular Skip from this.
The Impossible Qatar 2[]
There are 3 Skips hidden in The Impossible Qatar 2. They can be obtained as follows:
- Question 12: After clicking "W" and "At" in the periodic table, click the word "WAt" above the table.
- Question 38: If you mouse around the screen, you'll be able to find a green arrow and the word "Ooh!"; click it to get the Skip.
- Question 121 might ask you which question the second Skip was hidden in. Of course, it's Question 38.
- Question 64: Click Sealandball in the question.
The Bombs in this quiz have a Skip orbiting them. Question 26 requires you to "find a skip"; you have to click the bomb to proceed.
At the end of the quiz, you'll receive a grade for your performance. Collecting Skips will increase your grade, but using them will lower it.
The Impossible Qatar 3[]
There are 3 Skips hidden in The Impossible Qatar 3. They can be obtained as follows:
- Question 5: Wait until the button turns green, then click it.
- Question 22: Click the box saying "Collect skip."
- Question 42: Click the question number.
Question 61 requires you to click one of your Skips to proceed. You don't actually lose it, but this makes this game the only one in the series where you need any powerups to beat it.
Question 65 tells you to "USE YOUR SKIPS," but clicking them costs a life. When the bomb reaches 3, it's revealed that it was just a trick, and a reference to Question 99 of The Insurmountable Quiz.
The Impossible Qatar Meta[]
There are 2 Skips hidden in The Impossible Qatar Meta. They can be obtained as follows:
- Question 2: Press the space bar, or click on the footnote at the bottom of the screen.
- Question 15: Type "CHINA".
The Impossible Qatar '22[]
There are 2 regular Skips hidden in The Impossible Qatar '22. They can be obtained as follows:
- Question 3: Click the option "Communism is good."
- Question 39: Drag away the word "Search!", then mouse under that spot. You should find a green arrow saying "What's this?", click it to get the Skip.
In addition, there is a Super Skip, the only real, functional one in the series. It can be obtained as follows:
- Question 72 (PC): On the platformer's fifth level, touch the flashing green dot on the left.
- Question 72 (mobile): Tap the small gray arrow in the top left corner.
Skips in this game notably say "SKIP ROUND?", as if the quiz were its namesake soccer tournament. The Super Skip similarly says "BRIBE TO SKIP 2 ROUNDS?". Both of them make a "ding" sound when used; the Super Skip makes two "dings".
At the end of the quiz, you'll recieve a grade for your performance. Collecting Skips will increase your grade, but using them will lower it.
The backwards skip in question:
Pkis[]
The test project "Pkis" features a "backwards skip," which you get for free after completing Question 1. Unlike the other Skips, it's colored yellow-green, points to the left, and has mirrored text. Clicking it will send you back one question, and play a backwards "ding" sound.
The Impossible Qatar 99'[]
There are two normal skips in the game, and one super skip. They can be obtained as follows:
- Question 5: You get it free after completing the question.
- Question 17:Click the box: Skip? Plox? which is a reference to the first Impossible qatar.
The Super skip is not made in the game yet. It is planned to be obtained in questions 50-60.
